Sam is 5 months old!

Here it goes- I need a place to write down what my kids do so I don't forget.  So, I'm trying to keep up on a blog.

Sam turned 5 months on Septmeber 15.  I can't believe how the time has gone!  He's such a great baby.  Nate's been saying it for months that he's our best baby and I wouldn't agree, but now I do think he's our best baby!  He LOVES his tummy- he's alway on the floor on his blanket playing with toys.  He can roll from his tummy to back, but then he gets stuck and cries.  (he does not like his back)  He moves around- tries to get up onto his knees, but can't yet.  But I'll find him facing the other direction when I leave him on the floor.  He loves his siblings- he just loves people being close by.  He's started rice cereal and some vegetables and likes them.  I find when I feed him rice cereal before bed, he sleeps from 7pm- 3 or 4am, but when I just breast feed him before bed he's up every 2 hours all night long.  He loves to eat and he's a big boy!  He's built just like Evan was- short and round!  He loves the Bjorn- I can take him to Morgan's gymnastics class and put him in that and he'll take a short nap.  He takes good naps at home- especially in the morning when we're at home.  The afternoon gets broken up with picking up Morgan from school and do after school activities.  Sam's a happy baby and is so sweet.  He sweats a lot- especially at night- and it makes him smell really good!  He has this spicy-sweet smell that I love. 

I asked Evan to keep an eye on him one morning and this is how I found them a few minutes later.  Evan told me he put all those things around so Eli couldn't get Sam!
