Spring break was the perfect break for us! Nate took Thursday and Friday off and we went to San Diego. We went to the Mormon Battalion in Old Town and then walked around Old Town. Friday we went to Sea World.
The Mormon Battalion was amazing! The kids really loved it- Eli dressed up like a soldier (I was a little scared when he put on the hat- the lice infestation is still too recent to not worry about putting on random hats- but I checked his head afterward and we were fine :)) The kids got to pan for gold at the end and keep 2 pieces- they're rich! My 6-great grandfather was in the Mormon Battalion and his gun is on display at the museum! Newman Bulkeley- look it up if you go!

At the hotel: no hair chair for Sam, but nothing a towel couldn't take care of :) Evan and Eli eating on the patio. We only spent one night but were able to swim and see the coy pond. Kids loved it!
Sea World was fun- the kids loved all the animals. We were able to see all the shows- the dolphins being our favorite. Sam even loved that one! I feel like we got to see everything so that's good. After Sea World, we got the kids in jammies, picked up some food, and headed to Grandma & Grandpa's to sleep and spend the next day with them.

At Grandma & Grandpa's the kids found a dead lizard in the pool. Grandma fished it out and then disected it. I only got close enough to take the picture- the kids were in heaven!
