We took the kids to Nate's work on Friday night (Sept. 30). They were "picking steel"- moving the big beams of steel from the parking lot to the building and welding them in place. Because of where they were, the kids got a great view from the other side of the fence. We got In-n-Out shakes and the kids wore their hard hats (or helmets as Evan calls them). Evan watched about 5 minutes of "Blog Cabin" on HGTV- they were remodeling a house- and he informed me that he no longer wants to be a space ranger, but he wants to be a builder. He loved seeing it in action!
